Grilled Cheeseburger with Caramelized Onion Sauce

1. Cook onion in butter with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a dash of W Sauce until dark and jammy, about 25–30 minutes.

2. Cool completely, then mix the onions with the remaining ingredients. Chill for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat grill to high heat (450–500°F).

4. Form two loose patties from the ground beef and season the outside heavily with black pepper and jalapeño salt.

5. Grill patties over direct heat for 2–3 minutes per side, flipping once.

6. Add Muenster cheese slices on top of patties and close the lid briefly to melt the cheese.

7. Toast the buttered burger buns over the grill.

8. Assemble the burger by layering the bottom bun, cold caramelized onion sauce, hot burger patty with melted cheese, and top bun.
